Jessica & Chris' Wedding ~ 11/05/2011 ~ Beacon Hill, WA Photographer

Ahhh weddings...how I love them. Everything about them! Such an emotional, joyous day filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and chaos! This day was chalked full of each of these, including an impromptu trip to a local market for a bouquet. We had plans to make it to Pike Place for a fun photo op of her getting her bouquet, but, one word stopped it all...traffic. That's Seattle for ya. However, I have never seen a bride so cool, calm, and collected as Jessica was. Just going with the flow, sipping on her wine, getting her make-up done, and enjoying her surroundings. This made it that much more fun for me to be apart of. I had such a great time getting to know the beautiful blushing bride as she counted down the minutes until she was walking down the isle to her soon-to-be husband, Chris. Such magical moments happened all throughout the day and I have to say, it was one of the most beautiful and passionate weddings I have ever been to. I wish these two nothing but the best that life has to offer and thank you for letting me be apart of it. CHEERS!

The Bernier Family ~ Duvall, WA Photographer

Oh how I adore this family! One sweet, yet awfuly rainy, Saturday morning, I was greeted at the door by the lovely Kelsey, drinking coffee and rising her family to get ready for pictures. Jullian, the sweet little man that he is, entertained me with trains and his Spiderman Halloween outfit as I tried to get little Jayden to warm up to me. After a couple pictures and the flash going off to catch his attention, Jayden, who like any little one meeting someone new was a little standoffish to say the least, warmed up to me and flashed me a little smile here and there. And the pictures I got...well...lets just say this family nailed it! Courtenay, Kels...I hope you enjoy these little gems I captured. And thank you so much for letting me enter your world on this joyous Saturday morning!

Nathaniel Merry ~ Ellynn Aven Photography ~ Leavenworth, WA Photographer

Oh The Places You'll Go. Happens to be one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books, but, when it comes to this young man, that phrase means sooo much more. Meet Nathaniel Thomas Merry. Bright, talented, down-to-earth kid who loves his family, loves his friends, and most importantly...loves the Lord. Now for those of you who know Nathaniel personally, know exactly what I am talking about. But one thing you might NOT know is... I get the privilege of calling him my brother...baby brother to be exact...who happens to be a foot taller than me. Inside joke...but not really if you saw us standing side by side. Now, why the Dr. Seuss reference? Well, it's the phrase that comes to mind when I look at him. So much potential, so much talent, so much drive to succeed that it just amazes me...but greater than all of these is the want and desire to serve and please the Lord. In this day and age, you don't see this much in any child... which truly breaks my heart. I feel blessed to watch him grow into his beautiful (yes, beautiful) soul and character. A while back I got the chance to spend a day with him just walking around Dad's ranch and with my camera in hand...I got some pretty awesome pictures of him. Take a look...at the little boy...that I actually named before he was born!!! Now, I'm not sure if anyone else remembers that...but I SURE DO!!!!!!!!! Like it was yesterday!! LOL!! I love you baby brother...

Wedding Portraits & JK│Jewel Kade Stylist Photo Shoot-06/12/2011 West Seattle, Washington Photographer

I was soooo tired but this was soooo worth it!!!!!!! Waking up at 4AM to get the good sunlight was tough, but, anything to get the shots, right? It was SUCH a fun day despite the early-ness. Not only did I get to hold and feel the energy of this gorgeous jewelry from JK│Jewel Kade, I had two gorgeous women to take pictures of!! Hard right?!?! Good Lord I love my job!! I have to hand it to Annmarie and Desire though, professionals through and through, not to mention two of my very best friends in this world. Biased opinion? I think NOT! I guarantee you, if you met them, not only would you see their outer beauty (it's impossible to deny!) but you would instantly see their inner beauty and be magnetically drawn to them. I have the honor and privilege to call my 'sisters' and am so proud of the women they have become. I{love}you dolls!!
As for the jewelry, it is all so beautiful that picking one to call your very own is SO tough...trust me, I know. If you are interested in some JK for your very own, the lovely Annmarie is a JK│Jewel Kade Stylist and would LOVE to hook you up. Host a show! I promise you won't be disappointed! Just go to www.jewelkade.com/annmarie to learn all about it! In the mean time, take a look at the photos I got of these two beauties!! CHEERS!

"No Road Home" A Novel By Brian Stockwell-Book Release and Author Signing 06/11/2011, Monroe, WA

"Suddenly, a still, small voice spoke deep inside her heart, and its message rang clear and true, like the bell of harmony that had always eluded her. "Don't worry, Addanen," it whispered, "when the time is right, I will give you the right words to say."
For you, a small glimpse into the wondrous novel, "No Road Home", by Brian Stockwell; a great man, my Father-In-Law, my friend.

"Joyous Occasion" is an understatement for this day. For today, 06/11/2011, a dream has come true. For years, Brian (or as we call him in our household, Grandpa Brian) had this incredible story in his head, piecing it together and making it perfect, all the while working so very diligently for the Lord. As a foreman for the Railroad, I am sure you can imagine there is not much time to sit and type a novel, however, because it was his calling from God, Brian found every extra second to tell this story and bring it to life. I, as well as many others, can attest that "No Road Home" is a definite "must read".

If you are interested in purchasing "No Road Home", please go to www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore and search "No Road Home." I promise you will NOT be disappointed but rather captivated by the story of young Addanen.

Grandpa Brian, you are such an inspiration to me and my little family and I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of you. Here is to many more of your great stories! CHEERS!
